Where pets stay loved, not left.

Companion Animal Care Team & Urban Sanctuary

Mission

To prevent animal homelessness by providing veterinary resources, education, and support for responsible pet ownership, thereby reducing the need for shelter placement and improving the well-being of both people and animals.

We also aim to provide sanctuary to the geriatric or vulnerable pet populations in Southern Arizona.

About CACTUS

  • Person administering a vaccine to a horse.

    veterinary care programs

Working with other local organizations, and because of donors like you, we are able to provide free veterinary care for pets most in need in our Southern Arizona community. Every animal we help is an opportunity to reinforce the human-animal bond, keep pets with their people, and reduce the intake of animals to shelters.

    Sanctuary

Our property provides a peaceful environment for animals to remain happy and healthy throughout their lives. We look forward to welcoming our community members to the sanctuary property to further the mission of CACTUS.

    Get Involved

We want CACTUS to be about community and building lasting relationships. We have many different ways for people to get involved. If there is something else that you think may be of benefit to CACTUS, please reach out, we would love to hear your ideas.

Vision
